Job Details: Specialties: Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA) Department: Emergency Medicine Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Providers Requested: 1 Provider Type: Advanced Practice Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Cerner Practice Setting: Inpatient Patients Per Shift: 70-90 patients in the ED daily per 4 providers Bed In Department: 16 Practice Details: Schedule: .9 FTE (variable 36 hours/week) with 1:3-4 weekends Shift Times: Monday to Friday: 8a-8p or 10a-10p (2 APCs on site) Saturday to Sunday: 10a-10p (1 APC on site) Procedures: Splinting, casting, suturing, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, joint aspirations Provider Mix: One MD/DO always on site Documentation: Extra time built in to complete all documentation and billing Requirements: Eligible Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Temporary Privileges: Available License Requirement: None Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Additional Information: This locum tenens position offers an excellent opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to expand their skills and make a meaningful impact in emergency medicine.
