Maintains clear hallways by moving unused equipment to designated storage areas. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Ensures the proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies. Participates in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge. Transports patient-related items such as belongings, paperwork, labs, and equipment efficiently. Accurately records transport details and reports necessary information using the Transportation system.

Skills:
Able to communicate in English using good diction, and respond to peoples needs in a pleasant and courteous manner as perceived by the customer, and as appropriate to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Must be proficient in the English language and able to read, write, and follow oral instructions. Service/Quality focused to meet a wide range of needs. Ability to navigate to/from various locations throughout the facility. Problem solver that can think quickly in cases of emergencies or unusual situations. Must be able to use a computer for patient information and basic department clerical functions. Excellent Customer Service skills. Ability to quickly learn and use software packages and equipment relevant to the department. Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively with peers, coworkers, clinicians, and other departments in meeting patient care standards. Ability to communicate effectively with all staff, patients, and physicians to ensure quality service and avoid delays in patient care. Ability to proficiently perform all care activities safely and in accordance with standards of care. High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]Work
Experience:
1+ year public contact in a medical setting [Preferred] Basic Life Support
- CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
