Operations Executive/Account Management

Job Duties:
Lead a team of high-performing and engaged employees through effective people leadership practices including regular communication of performance expectations and feedback to employees to maintain high team performance; provide coaching and corrective action as required; actively support employee professional growth and development.
Implement, manage, and mature the enterprise risk strategy and program with particular focus on operational risk through completion of Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), control reviews and effective challenge.
Meet established department metrics, update leader on all major projects, employee issues and goal progress.
Create and deliver a business plan and strategy in alignment with department and credit union directives.
Develop metrics, reporting, and dashboards to ensure process efficiency and effective operational and vendor risk reporting and communication to executive leadership and the Board.
Evaluate regulatory requirements and industry best practices to establish clear and measurable expectations for the operational and vendor risk management program and processes.
Participate on committees and cross functional groups to assist with risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.
Essential Skills:
Minimum 8 years' experience in risk management, financial industry experience strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience leading risk management professionals.
Ability to successfully drive projects, processes, and change management concepts in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
Confidence to make decisions in ambiguous circumstances and to work in an evolving regulatory environment.
Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge entrenched processes and influence change.
Ability to bring practical judgement to bear in solving risk related issues.
Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with risk management software.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Certification/License: Relevant industry standard certifications preferred (CRVPM, CTPRP, CTPRA, etc.).
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation: $145k to $165k annually + annual bonus.
