We are contracted by the world's largest heavy civil contractors and private developers to work on exciting infrastructure and transportation projects. *Job* *Description* We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Engineer for our New Jersey office to lead and support complex geotechnical instrumentation projects. This role involves the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and reporting of instrumentation, as well as the oversight of technical and project management aspects to ensure excellence throughout project execution. The position requires a keen analytical approach to managing and analyzing large datasets, alongside strong attention to detail in project upkeep. Candidates must have a solid understanding of construction plans and specifications. Training will be provided for industry-specific and proprietary software to support the demands of this role. *Key Responsibilities** Project Support: Assist with planning, scheduling, and budgeting for instrumentation projects. * Installation Coordination: Collaborate with field teams to support the installation of geotechnical instrumentation, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and functionality. * Technical Oversight: Review installation plans, monitor site conditions, and verify adherence to project specifications and safety standards. * Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and process data from sensors, support data quality control, and contribute to daily&weekly monitoring reports. * Client Interaction: Communicate project progress and technical details to clients, addressing any questions and adjusting project plans as necessary. * Documentation: Maintain organized records of project activities, including installation logs, calibration reports, field notes and monitoring reports. xrczosw * Leadership: Mentor junior team members and promote high standards of technical excellence. *Requirements/Qualifications** Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or similar field)* Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation or a related field, with project management experience * Proficiency in data analysis and geotechnical software, with a strong understanding of instrumentation techniques * Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel * Strong technical writing skills * CAD experience * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and sound judgment * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and team leadership * Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to lead projects under tight timelines; project management skills or credentials are a plus * High attention to detail and ability to multitask * Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team *Benefits** Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance * Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)* 401K Access * Paid Time Off (Vacation/Sick/Holiday) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k)* Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Experience: * Civi Engineering: 5 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Monroe Township, NJ 08831: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
