Vice President of Interconnection – Community Solar A leading clean energy developer, owner, and operator is seeking a Vice President of Interconnection to lead the interconnection process for its rapidly growing portfolio of community solar projects across the U.S. This is a key leadership role within a high-growth independent power producer driving the clean energy transition. The Role You'll oversee interconnection strategy from project inception through operation, lead a skilled team, and manage relationships with utilities to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's interconnection strategy. Lead and mentor the interconnection team. Build strong utility and stakeholder relationships. Oversee interconnection schedules, budgets, and risk management. Provide technical and commercial guidance for project and portfolio decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field. 10+ years' experience in project management, preferably in renewables. Strong knowledge of utility interconnection and/or ISO/RTO frameworks. Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic mindset with both technical and commercial expertise. Location Atlanta, GA (relocation assistance available) Hybrid. Some travel required.
