LEARN, the Regional Educational Service Center of southeastern Connecticut, invites candidates to apply for the fulltime Associate Instructor at The Friendship School in Waterford, Connecticut.
The Associate Instructor will provide direct educational services to our PreK through Kindergarten students.
The Associate Instructor reports to the Principal and Assistant Principal.
Assist the teacher to plan and implement individual and group activities (tiered instruction, academic and playbased centers, circle time, technology activities, etc.) Follow routine school, program, and organizational procedures.
Handle personal information related to students in a professional and confidential manner.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Must have earned an Associates Degree (or higher), or achieve a passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment.
Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, or willingness to obtain a CDA, is required.
