Associate Attorney

*Associate Attorney.* New York Law Firm concentrating on Elder Law, Trust & Estates, Surrogate’s Court litigation, and guardianships seeks a full-time attorney with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our growing practice. Excellent opportunity for an attorney new to this field looking to develop their professional skills, work directly with clients and Courts. This position involves working mainly at our Staten Island office location, with occasional travel to our office location in Lower Manhattan (11 Broadway). Applicants for this position are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working at a law firm. While this is the basic requirement, additional experience in areas such as estate planning, estate administration, real estate transactions, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning is considered a plus. In addition, familiarity with fiduciary accounting, tax experience, and hourly billing will be advantageous for candidates seeking this role. NYS Bar admission is required. Admission in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania is a plus. You will have access to opportunities for continuing education both inside and outside of our field.
