Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist Position at Norman Regional Health System

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role involves preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment before and during procedures, maintaining a high level of sterility.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care according to departmental policies.
Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Required Qualifications
A completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
Eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration and/or current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $42-$65 per hour, based on previous work experience.
