The Corporate Communications Director will develop and advance Think's internal and external communication strategies by leading and managing company communication plans and promoting positive engagement with Think's internal and external audiences.

The Corporate Communications Director should have experience creating effective and cohesive communications plans and messages aligned with company goals and strategies. In addition, the candidate should have a proven record of developing and writing communication materials through various channels.

In this role, you will lead the internal communication efforts working closely with leaders and project teams to assess needs, assist with communication plans, and identify communication activities that are efficient and effective in supporting company initiatives and campaigns. You will establish communication guidelines to be utilized across the company for corporate communications to ensure a consistent and integrated tone.

The Corporate Communications Director will also play a key role in Think's external communication strategies and activities. As a collaborative leader, you will oversee Think’s social media channels and content and collaborate closely with the rest of the Marketing and Communications team to promote the bank while ensuring brand continuity. You will utilize your strong background in building and maintaining relationships with key contacts and media outlets to advance Think's external communications. You will apply your skills in writing and editing complex messages to develop external corporate communications.

Other responsibilities include:

Driving culture and behavioral change management initiatives through internal campaigns with diverse tactics in partnership with appropriate functional areas
Developing and maintaining an editorial calendars for communications across multiple mediums (e.g., intranet, email, in person meetings, social media)
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring proper brand management and use of corporate identity guidelines
Working with senior leaders to develop communications for internal audiences
Developing and managing media relationships to ensure coverage of major milestones and company initiatives
Play a key role in crisis communication response, planning, and issue management

Qualifications

High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public affairs, or related field OR 6 years’ experience in journalism, communications, marketing, or public affairs
Three years’ experience in one or more of the following: executive/board communications, corporate communications, public relations, or marketing
Banking experience preferred
