Kreider Farms, a family-owned farm and food manufacturing company in Manheim, PA, is looking for a Diesel Truck Technician to join our team.

The essential job functions of a Kreider Farms Diesel Truck Technician include being responsible for the preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the Kreider Farms fleet. The technician will ensure all required DOT documentation for service work is completed and projects are prioritized. The work will include inspections and repairs to company fleet vehicles. Will need to understand basic electrical systems to diagnose and perform repairs. Knowing and understanding air systems on the trucks and trailers, is preferred. Mack, Cummins, Bendix and/or Wabco experience, a plus

The position requires excellent communication skills, moderate computer skills, and the ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions. We are looking for a Truck Technician who is a team player and willing to learn and grow with the rapidly growing 3rd generation family company.

Days/hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5 pm. Some holidays and weekend work may be required.

Education: HS Diploma/GED, Class A CDL license and Class 7 PA State Inspection License, required. Degrees from a trade school, helpful but not required.

Experience: 3-5 years of diesel technician experience

License/Certification: CDL Class A, Class 7 PA State Inspection Certificate

Salary: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
