Fleet Diesel Technician

Kreider Farms, a family-owned farm and food manufacturing company in Manheim, PA, is looking for a Diesel Truck Technician to join our team.
The technician will ensure all required DOT documentation for service work is completed and projects are prioritized. The work will include inspections and repairs to company fleet vehicles. Will need to understand basic electrical systems to diagnose and perform repairs. Knowing and understanding air systems on the trucks and trailers, is preferred. Mack, Cummins, Bendix and/or Wabco experience, a plus
The position requires excellent communication skills, moderate computer skills, and the ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions
Days/hours: Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Some holidays and weekend work may be required.
Education: HS Diploma/GED, Class A CDL license and Class 7 PA State Inspection License, required. Degrees from a trade school, helpful but not required.
Experience: 3-5 years of diesel technician experience
License/Certification: CDL Class A, Class 7 PA State Inspection Certificate
Salary: Based on Experience with a competitive benefit package
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
