Job Description:

About th is role :

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Palliative Care , you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will work closely with a supportive team of 2 Palliative Care Physicians and 2 APPs at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
  • Competitive Compensation
  • Incentives: $10,000 starting bonus, up to $7,500 relocation bonus (if applicable), and up to $25,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable). We're also PSLF eligible
  • You'll work with a supportive and collaborative physician during your shift.
  • You'll assist patients with goals of care, symptom management, and more.
  • You'll have a flexible schedule that prioritizes work/life balance.
  • You'll work with our 30 plus provider hospitalist group and experienced ICU team. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.
  • EPIC EMR (system-wide).

What you'll bring:
  • An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
  • Ability to successfully com plete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for Palliative Care.
  • Experience in Palliative Care, Hospice, inpatient care, or related specialty required.
