We are seeking a *Certified Medical Assistant* for a renowned urgent care network located in Queens, NY. Under direct supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the CMA will assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The ideal candidate has experience in an outpatient setting and the motivation to level their medical career.

The base pay range for this position is $19 to $22 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition

*Responsibilities:*
* Obtain vital signs, height, weight and document information into our EMR.
* Perform phlebotomy, complete appropriate laboratory forms and/or entry ordered laboratory services into the computer.
* Accurately labels specimen with patient data.
* Retrieve laboratory and ancillary test results from the computer, email or fax reports.
* Perform EKG and audio-visual testing and conduct tests (Urinalysis, Rapid Strep/Flu, Glucose (finger), mono, splinting/strapping, etc.).
* Assist on procedures including the setup and processing of equipment.
* Discharge patients from room with instructions.
* Perform vitals, specimen collections, health assessments and follow-up for patients.
* Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized.

*Requirements:*
* Medical Assistant Certification - NYS
* Bilingual Spanish is a plus
* MUST be able to do phlebotomy (CPT preferred)

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
