We're looking for passionate individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves, operate cutting-edge machinery, and help usexceed our daily production goals while prioritizing safety and quality.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Set up and operate a brake press for routine established workSelect correct tooling and program for the job task with job documentsLoad, install and correctly set up required tooling and program for jobPerform assigned work to time standards and quality expectationsReport and document, material, production and quality issuesMake routine decisions using problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance"Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator levelCheck own production parts correctly using required measuring equipmentPerform forming operations with tolerances of +/-0.010 routinelyKNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIESStrong metal press forming and basic fabrication backgroundUnderstands the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required "Ability to safely and effectively operate various tools and equipmentStrong ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aidsFlexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientationGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong orientation toward safety, quality and continuous improvementAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectationsDemonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to changeProficient in programming Cincinnati and Safan style CNC brake pressSuccessfully completes all necessary safety and OSHA training requirementsBEHAVIORSSafety discipline is a way of life - does not violate safety rulesFlexible and responsive.
