Job Summary

Kable Staffing is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity that requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form parts using CNC Press Brake equipment, ensuring high-quality and productivity.
  • Inspect parts using inspection devices, adhering to print and product inspection plans.
  • Measure work using rules, gauges, calipers, and templates.
  • Set up procedures for simple to moderately complex parts.
  • Determine correct tooling for forming parts to specifications.
  • Generate programs at machine controllers for simple to moderately complex parts.
  • Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Make small, mathematically calculated, angle and dimensional corrections.
  • Orient parts correctly according to projected views on blueprints.
  • Follow Press Brake process standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • 18 years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, stand for the entire shift, bend, squat, twist, and turn.
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Brake Press Operator required.
  • Ability to read router packets, understand, and follow all instructions given.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Advanced knowledge of brake press operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the use of dial calipers, square, and various measuring equipment.
  • Basic math knowledge.
  • The ability to organize and motivate people to accomplish goals while creating a sense of order and direction.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
