Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a Special Education Teacher to work in Arlington Heights, Illinois. As a school professional with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Special Education Teacher.
Schools Special Education Teacher Contract Details:
- $40 - $45 an hour
- 2024-2025 School Year
- Hours per week: Full-time. Monday-Friday school schedule
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: June 2025
- Location: In-person
- Details: Elementary school self-contained classroom of low-incident Kindergarten and 1st grade students (about 6 students). Many of the students use an AAC device to communicate. The school bell times are 8:15am – 3:45pm.
- Multicategorical/Crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university related area
-Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement
- Special Education Teaching Endorsement must meet position requirements
- Multicategorical/Crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted
