Description

Under the supervision of the ASC Supervisor or Manager, plans, directs and delivers high quality comprehensive nursing care in accordance with Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Center's ASC By-Laws. Follows professional standards of nursing practice, procedures, and protocols. Under the direct supervision of the LIP provides comprehensive procedural sedation services in collaboration with other members of the ASC health care team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in conscious sedation and equipment used within the ASC department.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 3 years recent RN experience in an in-patient care or ASC setting.
  • 3 years in an ASC or acute care setting: Critical care, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Endoscopy, GI Lab.
  • 1 year performing the core job at Pacific Medical Centers, or equivalent external experience in a lead capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Training in equipment and instrument Sterilization.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in sterile technique.
  • Upon hire: Certification in specialty (CCRN Certification, CNOR Certification, or CGRN Certification).
