We have an immediate opening for a Registered Vascular Technologist in the South Florida region We are seeking someone that can travel among our four practice locations in Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point and Palm Springs

Riverchase Dermatology, an AQUA Dermatology portfolio practice, is Florida’s largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology.

As a Registered Vascular Technologist at our dermatology practice, you will play a key role in performing and interpreting vascular diagnostic tests to assist in the management of vascular conditions associated with dermatological treatments. Your expertise will help ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform vascular ultrasounds, venous mapping ultrasounds, and lower extremity arterial ultrasounds.
Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing detailed reports for review by dermatologists and other medical professionals.
Collaborate with dermatologists to integrate vascular findings into comprehensive treatment plans.
Educate patients about the vascular testing procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Set up and clean up ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
Keep detailed and accurate records of all diagnostic procedures and patient interactions.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
Flexibility and adaptability as it relates to schedules, responsibilities, and priorities.
Works in a team environment, maintaining professional relationships with patients, providers, supervisors, and administrators.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in vascular technology and dermatological care.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Certificate of completion from an accredited Ultrasound program. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/ RVS).
Minimum 2 years of related work experience required. Proficiency in vascular ultrasound techniques and a strong understanding of vascular anatomy.
Travel between four practice locations is expected for this position in Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point and Palm Springs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed. Ability to analyze and interpret information, ability to interact and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
