Job Summary:

Memorial Hospital of Carbondale (MHC) is seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies, to diagnose and treat vascular diseases.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Canon Aplio i700 and Philips Affiniti machines.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account patient history, medical conditions, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • ARDMS certification in vascular ultrasound.
  • RVT registration and general ultrasound experience.
  • Preferred: at least one year of experience as a travel technologist and experience with Canon Aplio i700 and Philips Affiniti equipment.

Schedule:

  • Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  • Off Monday
  • Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
  • Off 6 days

Unit Specific Information:

  • EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Canon Aplio i700; Philips Affiniti.
  • EXAM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Abdomen/small parts, OB/GYN, and there is a lot of vascular done here.
