Job Description: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Employment Type: Contract
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities

Required Certifications:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Job Overview: As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in various interventional procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and stent placements. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the accurate and safe delivery of care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments required for IR procedures.
Assist in the positioning of patients and the operation of imaging equipment during procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain a sterile environment.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed to minimize patient and staff exposure to radiation.
Provide post-procedure care instructions and support to patients.

Shift Details:

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call duties as required.
