The Solutions Engineering (SE) team builds compute systems and SoC’s that integrate Arm IP, including CPU, GPU, NPU, and system IP. Our systems target different market domains, ranging from mobile phones, loT devices, and datacenters to autonomous driving.

 

What you could be doing as a SI/PI Intern?


You will be working closely with and guided by expert engineers for the following tasks:

  • Learn how to use EDA tools to extract s-parameter model from package and PCB layout designs.
  • Perform basic signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
  • Build relationship between your own research and real product needs to accomplish a research project that contributes to both academic and industrial worlds.

We are looking for individuals who:


Are currently enrolled and studying towards an Electrical Engineering Degree (Masters or PhD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.

 

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

  • Experience or coursework in electromagnetic field and optics and analog circuits (i.e. R, L, C, phasor analysis, etc.)
  • Passionate in computer architecture and the performance of modern computing systems.
  • Familiarity with power electronics is a huge plus.
  • Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.

Salary in California:


From: $76,960
To: $124,800

This is a non-exempt hourly role which will be paid at an hourly rate based on the number of hours worked. Pay rates vary by location and educational level.
