## Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare and Medicaid.
## Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of medical billing procedures to process claims accurately
- Review and verify patient insurance information
- Ensure all billing and coding meet compliance standards
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim rejections and denials
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
- Handle patient billing inquiries in a professional manner
## Experience
- Previous experience in medical billing utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Familiarity with medical collections and records management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
