We are excited to share a wonderful opportunity to assist a Geriatric Unit in Virginia. This reputable hospital system is looking for a psychiatrist to provide tele services to the unit.

Details/Requirements:
Role: Tele-Psychiatrist
Facility: Geriatric inpatient unit (10 beds)
Schedule: 7 on/7 off
Experience required: Board Certified, Inpatient and Hospital experience
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment to patients 55 years and up
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Manage and stabilize acute psychiatric crises
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Proven experience in crisis stabilization and high-acuity environments
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
