MLR is seeking an experienced and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time, 40-hour day shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echocardiography and a commitment to providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging to support patient care. This position offers a stable schedule with consistent hours, making it perfect for those who want to maintain work-life balance while making a positive impact on cardiovascular health.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Evaluate and interpret results, providing detailed reports for physicians and cardiologists.
Collaborate with cardiology and medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through ARDMS or equivalent.
CCI accepted as well.
State licensure in New York or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Proficient in performing and interpreting echocardiograms.
