Work Environment: Full-time, on-site in the Portland Area
Impactful Work: Lead nursing assistants and ensure top-quality care in a long-term care setting.
Position Information:
Department: Nursing
Work Arrangement: Full Onsite
Terms: Contract 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Nursing Care (85%):
Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per facility guidelines.
Conduct admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
Implement and update resident care plans.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records (Point Click Care).
Administrative Support (10%):
Complete required medical forms, reports, and evaluations.
Assist in training staff and maintaining data resources.
Other Duties (5%):
Participate in staff meetings and additional projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: LPN degree from an accredited institution.
Experience: 1 year in a similar nursing role.
Licensure: Valid LPN license in Oregon.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic medical records systems (PCC).
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the job.
Clear verbal communication and manual dexterity for typing and writing.
