Deposition Officer

Are you tech-savvy and interested in the legal industry and legal proceedings? U.S. Legal Support is looking for a Deposition Officer, and no prior experience is necessary – we provide training

If you're good with computers, a great communicator, and eager to learn, this job is your ticket to a thrilling career in legal support

This is role will require reporting onsite to various locations in California on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Deposition Officer:

️ Digital Recording: Capture spoken testimony during legal proceedings.
Tech Proficiency: Operate computer audio equipment after our training program.
Documentation: Create annotations and maintain speaker identifications.

Requirements of a Deposition Officer:

Tech Enthusiast: Comfortable with computers and software.
Quick Typist: Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
Notary: Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission as applicable (we'll assist).
️ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.

AAERT Certification Required in some states; If not already AAERT Certified, we will provide training and opportunity for certification.
