Mackinac Straits Health System is searching for a CRNA to assist with our growing Surgical Services department in St. Ignace. We are looking for either a full-time or part-time CRNA, as well as per diem. Salary is commensurate with experience, work schedule is Monday through Friday (no weekends or holidays), and there is no on-call responsibility with this position.

Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace is a 15-bed Critical Access Hospital that also houses an Outpatient Surgery Center, Emergency Room/Walk-in “Fast Care” Clinic, Physical Therapy Department, Tribal Health Clinic, Retail Pharmacy and a 48-bed Long-term Care Facility.

MSHS is a nonprofit organization serving the Straits of Mackinac region with more than 69 dedicated physicians and primary care providers having expertise in more than 14 specialties, including cardiology, general and orthopedic surgery, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, podiatry, urology, and other specialists providing quality care, locally.

As the gateway to the Upper Peninsula on the north side of the Mackinac Bridge, our Hospital is surrounded by unlimited opportunities to enjoy nature at its finest. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current on anesthesia techniques and best practices
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in patient care

Qualifications
- RN License and CRNA certification required
- Proficiency in basic life support, IV insertion, and EMR/EHR systems
- Strong patient care skills with experience in patient assessment and administering injections
- Premium skills in Epic, critical care, and Level I Trauma Center experience
- Relevant skills in ophthalmology, Cerner, and acute pain management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $200,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
