Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician who will provide direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a preceptor for all other Endoscopy Technicians. You will be assisting with the care of patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures.
What you will do in this role:
- Assist with Endoscopy Scheduling
- You will demonstrate knowledge related to the maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- You will maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient care
- You will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure the availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
- Assist the physician with interventions as indicated
- Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
- You will demonstrate appropriate aseptic techniques
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- 2 years’ experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

- Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptable
