We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Endoscopy Technician to help us reach our goals.
Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician who will provide direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a mentor for all other Endoscopy Technicians.
You will assist with the care of patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures.
What you will do in this role:
- Assist with Endoscopy Scheduling.
- Demonstrate knowledge related to the maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient care.
- Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure the availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies.
- Assist the physician with interventions as indicated.
- Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case.
- Demonstrate appropriate aseptic techniques.
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
- 2 years' experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Please be sure to list current license information on your application.
- Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification.
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptable.
