*Day* *Shift is 8:00-4:30, Night Shift is 11:30 am to 8:00 pm M-F with an afterhours on-call rotation. Shift premium & on-call pay both apply.*

*Thermo King Reefer Technician* *Responsibilities:*

* Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container)
* Complete pre trip inspections in accordance with customers' specific requirements
* Participate in manufacturers' training in order to remain up to date on new Thermo King equipment
* Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels (fleet manager, driver, dispatch)

*Requirements:*

* Education: Certification as a diesel or refrigeration mechanic or 5 years experience in transportation refrigeration preferred
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Strong language skills, oral and written
* Ability to prioritize customers' requests
* Must be organized and able to multitask
* Valid driver's license
* Commercial driver's license (CDL), or the ability to apply for one
* Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

Compensation is dependent on experience. Shift, on-call & CDL premiums are offered, as are productivity incentives.
