* Certification/License/Registration required by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
_Overall:_
* Excellent verbal and communication skills.
* Maintenance of strict HIPPA Regulations.
* Have the ability to assess the needs of the customer and effectively meet those needs.
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of computers.
* Access the web for product information, send data for calculations, and retrieve compiled data.
*Responsibilities*
_Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Lab Technician (MLT) supervises and performs tests in any of the departmental areas of the laboratory:_
* Checks the validity and accuracy of test results.
* Provides in-service education to other technicians and technologists.
* Provides on-the-job training to new personnel (clerks) and/or orientation of new technicians and technologists.
* Able to collect samples from patients of all ages.
* Responsible for guest relations, interpersonal skills, and patient confidentiality
