Activities Director Assistant Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Activity Director required (at least 1 year)
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shot(s)
Valid CPR/BLS Certification
Previous experience in a skilled-nursing/long-term care setting
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Primary Activities Director Responsibilities:

Establishes and maintains an effective room visit program, with documentation as needed
Maintains a room visit cart with a wide range of activity equipment and supplies
Assures facility reflects appropriate monthly, seasonal, and holiday events by providing decorations, newsletters, calendars, announcements, etc. to promote the residents' quality of life. Set up and removal of such items must be done in a timely manner
Assigns activities and document on MDS's, care plans, and quarterly notes, in preparation for Resident Care Plan conference reviews
Interviews and evaluates each resident, as well as family, friends, or responsible party, to determine his/her background, interests, abilities, physical limitations and needs for the purpose of planning and implementing a meaningful program
Other duties may be assigned

Pay Scale: $22 / Hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
