The Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will join a team of dedicated individuals who are committed, compassionate, and excited to serve their community everyday.
The Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will oversee the PreOp and PACU area designated for the pediatric population. The Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will be supported by Nursing Supervisors, Staff RN, CNAs and ancillary staff. The Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will be accountable for department operations, implementing quality performance initiatives, educating new-hire and current staff on best practices and procedures, assisting with department budget, ensuring regulatory readiness, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
The Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will create a positive work environment by leading by example, implementing realistic standards and department goals, holding the team accountable as needed, creating an open line of communication between the team and the patients, and incorporating continuous educational programs for new-hire and current department staff. Through supporting their team, monitoring staffing needs accordingly, and promoting a positive work environment, the Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU will continue to promote a stable, positive department that focuses on delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Through utilizing budget tools to forecast, analyzing data trends, incorporating best practices, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, the Clinical Nurse Manager Pediatric PACU is able to develop comprehensive strategic plans for departmental growth.
