Position Summary:

Performs specialized duties relating to the care of and setting up of instruments and equipment used by the operating room, clinics and individualized hospital departments.

Reports to: Manager

FLSA:  Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.Drag Edit DeleteCleans and disinfects all equipment. Prepares equipment and specialty trays for processing and sterilization as assigned.Drag Edit DeleteAssesses equipment functioning and performance, notifies appropriate person of any defects/damage, and prepares equipment which needs to be sent out for repair.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree (Preferred)
