The Hospital Respiratory Therapist  will join a respiratory care service line that provides care to both adult and pediatric populations. The Acute Care Respiratory Therapist will assist to provide a number of services including airway and ventilator management, aerosol medication administration and education, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms, cardiopulmonary disease and rehabilitation. The Hospital Respiratory Therapist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Hospital Respiratory Therapist will act as a professional who can demonstrate clinical knowledge to provide respiratory care adequate for both pediatric and adult populations. The Hospital Respiratory Therapist will act as a clinical leader within the Respiratory Services department with the ability to explain the purpose and procedure of treatments to patients and families alike. The Hospital Respiratory Therapist will conduct physical examinations of the patient and will then prescribe treatment or therapies utilizing IPPB equipment, various oxygen devices, ultrasonic nebulizers, aerosol and humidity therapy, incentive spirometry, among many other treatments.

This Certified Respiratory Therapist RRT will be surrounded by delicious food and endless entertainment. The Respiratory Therapist can spend the day shopping or eating New York City, or hiking at one of the Nature parks in New Jersey.
