In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing new software and web applications as well as maintain existing applications. Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related discipline10+ years of professional experience in software engineering/architecture, as well as data analysis and management; experience within the insurance and/or finance industry requiredDemonstrated engineering experience utilizing the Java stack (Java, Spring Boot and/or Quarkus Frameworks, JVM internals, Junit, JavaScript, Apache Camel)Experience with Cloud Computing, Azure, AKS, Python and Java based Microservices, Docker containers, Angular framework, MVC, SOAP Web services, REST APIs, Kafka, MQ, Git, TFS, and/or DevOps toolsGood exposure on any RDBMS and Bigdata Platforms, MongoDB, and Data ModellingPrior experience in digital security and privacy practicesStrong analytical and communication skillsIn Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $122,500 to $198,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
