The Continuous Quality Improvement Manager is a key leadership position within the Student Health and Well-Being (SHWB) Unit. This role is responsible for driving and overseeing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of health and wellbeing services provided to university students. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing assessment initiatives for Student Health and Well-being. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support. The successful candidate will also partner with SHWB Leadership to develop, implement and evaluate assessment activities that measure the SHWB s success in achieving its strategic goals as well as regulatory/assessment requirements.
Day to Day for this position:
  • Collect and interpret data, identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Manage Peer Review process for all clinical department
  • Develop and lead clinical audit and compliance processes
  • Implement practices and benchmarks to streamline workflow
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on continuous quality improvement methodologies and best practices

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Requires a bachelor s degree and 4 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications
-Master s degree in a related field: Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Quality Improvement, etc.
-Proven experience in continuous quality improvement and assessment within a public healthcare or student affairs university setting.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.- Excellent project management and organizational skills.- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in student health and well-being.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to develop, implement and monitor key performance measures for identified improvement projects. Ability to use statistical software and tools to track, analyze, and migrate data into internal database systems for ease of access, interpretation, and custom report creation. High level of computer literacy. Demonstrated ability to work with teams and individuals in providing clear directions and guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. High level of problem solving ability and analytical skills. Skills to conduct ongoing training, coaching and collaborate with a diverse staff. Ability to interact with customers in a supportive and user-friendly manner. Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
