- Provide direct nursing care to students and staff in a school setting
- Assess and evaluate the health needs of students and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a safe and healthy learning environment
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics

```Qualifications:```
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of PA
- Experience working as a nurse in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate documentation
- Familiarity with various medical procedures such as gastric lavage and neonatal ventilation
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards children of all ages
- Knowledge of pediatric, hospice palliative medicine, senior care is a plus
