RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate material supply
  • Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure adequate supply of raw materials to meet production schedules and order requirements
  • Compile and analyze reports for use in forecasting raw material requirements
  • Participate in the movement of scrap and alloy materials between all Carpenter melt facilities
  • Interact with raw material suppliers and processors
  • Participate/support weekly, monthly and quarterly raw material audits
  • Create heat mixes based on order requirements for melt shop
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED FOR THE RAW MATERIALS SPECIALIST
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain preferred.
