Tired of uncertain and late-night hours in the kitchen? Consider becoming a Cook with Living Branches You’ll be able to share your culinary strengths and continue to grow your cooking skills, but you’ll make it home in time to enjoy your evenings.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for hot/cold food preparation to support residents and guests
* Prepares and cooks food from menus and/or recipes in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and County standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures to assure that quality food service is provided at all times
* Reviews the daily menu, prepares and cooks meals (entrée, starch, vegetables), including mechanical or therapeutic diets according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served
* Every other weekend and every other holiday hours required

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent (Required); Culinary Arts Degree (Preferred)
* 2+ years experience in restaurant, culinary, long-term care facility or related field; or 1 year related experience and a culinary arts degree
* Knowledge of quality food production, cooking methods, sanitation including serve safe certificate, knife skills, food receiving/storage/handling
