Introduction:

The Multicultural Clinical Center (MCC) is a reputable mental health clinic dedicated to providing high-quality Diagnostic and Behavioral Health services to a diverse community. We specialize in providing diagnostic evaluations, psychological assessments, and immigration evaluations to cater to the unique needs of our patients. With a multi-lingual approach, our team ensures effective communication and delivers culturally sensitive care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist/Neuropsychologist who is proficient in both English and Spanish languages to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations, performing psychological assessments, and completing immigration evaluations. This role requires excellent clinical skills, cultural competence, and the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer psychological assessments to analyze cognitive abilities, personality traits, emotional well-being, etc.

2. Perform immigration evaluations to assess individuals' psychological and emotional fitness for the immigration process, providing detailed reports in a timely manner.

3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, counselors, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

4. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation of all assessments, evaluations, and treatments.

5. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of psychology to enhance clinical knowledge and provide Evidence-Based care.

6. Actively participate in professional development activities and engage in ongoing learning opportunities to continually improve clinical skills.

7. Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring best practices for patient care, privacy, and confidentiality.

8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as therapists and social workers

Requirements:

- Minimum of a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.

- Previous experience in conducting diagnostic, psychological, and immigration evaluations.

- Current license to practice psychology in the state of Virginia.

- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct assessments and write reports in both languages.

- Comprehensive knowledge of various psychological assessment tools and diagnostic techniques.

- Strong interviewing and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards clients.

- Proficient in report writing and record-keeping, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Familiarity with immigration laws, regulations, and psychological guidelines pertaining to immigration evaluations.
