Devereux/TCV Community Services in Homestead, PA provides programs and services for children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and dual diagnoses. In this position you will lead, influence and provide quality care and outstanding performance in the areas of direct nursing care with established nursing procedures, regulatory compliance and best practices. We are offering you an opportunity to organize and administer an effective school health program that will help our students to attain and maintain their optimum health status so that they may receive maximum benefit from their educational experience
*Location:* Day Academy, Homestead, PA
*Qualifications:*
· Requires a BSN and Pennsylvania RN License.
· School Nurse Certification by the PA Department of Education and/or eligibility for school nurse certification required.
· Two (2) years of recent clinical or school nursing experience preferred or completion of a Nursing refresher course.
· Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and computer skills required.
· A valid PA Driver’s License with three (3) year driving history required.
· State Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances, required.
· Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
· Have a strong passion for working with and helping children with special needs.
Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. Devereux fosters a culture of reporting abuse and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
*Pay Rate: Hourly Pay Rate of $33.80 to $38.52 *(increases depending on related experience).
*\**Prospective employee hired for this position will receive a $9,000 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third of the bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third of the bonus will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.
