This not-for-profit system comprises multiple acute care hospital locations and hundreds of outpatient care locations throughout the south Florida region. Reporting to the Medical Physics Director, the Chief Medical Physicist Photon Therapy will ensure the safe and effective delivery of photon-based radiation treatments to patients and provide leadership to Photon Therapy staff. Other responsibilities include participating in clinical research, supporting system-wide compliance and quality initiatives, providing training and support to Medical Physicist staff and Radiation Oncology departments, and overseeing equipment maintenance. What’s Needed to Succeed:Master’s degree or PhD in Medical PhysicsLicensed and certified as a Therapeutic Radiological PhysicistPrior working and leadership experience is a plusThis established organization is located in one of southern Florida’s most popular coastal metropolitan areas.
