Job Description:

This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester

  1. Lead group learning sessions one to four times a week
  2. Assists students with specific course-related concepts during additional assigned times
  3. Provide feedback to faculty on student performance through maintenance of record of attendance/ participation and grading of worksheets in a fair and efficient manner
  4. Facilitates development of effective, related study skills
  5. Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor
  6. May consult with faculty for course resources, guidance, and direction
  7. Works approximately 10-15 hours per week
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with professor, student participants
Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
  • Must have completed Biology 3403 Evolution with an A
  • Must be dependable and professional


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate and listen effectively while working closely with others
  • Ability to work and stay on task with minimal supervision
  • Enrollment in or Completion of Biology 3403 Evolution
Salary:

$13.00/hour
