Machine Operator

We at I.K. Hofmann seeking Machine Operators to join our clients growing Production Team. Our client has been a pillar of the Culpeper community for more than 50 years and employs nearly 200 employees.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

Loading mailings into inserting machines

Setting up and operating machines

Sorting and checking materials

Packaging and labeling tray

Possibly packaging mail into containers

Other duties as needed


Qualities and Skills:

Attention to detail.

Maintain perspective on the bigger picture during repetitive tasks.

Good communication skills.

Listens well and takes direction from management.


Essential Job Functions:

Extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional bending

Periodic stooping, pinching, and gripping

Regular lifting of 15 to 25 lbs.

Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs. when handling large sized printed materials

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to read and write in English and calculate basic math.
