Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is to drive process improvement in Manufacturing Processing and Packaging systems
  • Develop and deploy strategies to maximize manufacturing performance on targeted systems
  • Leads efforts to identify and drive cost savings projects (i.e., material optimization or waste reduction)
  • Creates and improves manufacturing instructions and standards to increase sustainability and reduce variation
  • Develops and deploys advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses
  • Provides technical leadership to solve problems, drive improvements in production systems and implement standards to ensure sustainment
  • Builds technical skills within manufacturing teams to drive out losses across processing and packaging systems
  • Maintains a central library of technical documentation to provide standardization and facilitate best practice sharing
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the assigned technologies and platforms
  • Responsible to conduct yourself and those you lead in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Years of Experience: 5+ years,
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Experience with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Leadership of structured problem-solving approaches such as Lean, Six-Sigma, or TPM.
  • Development and use of statistical models and data analytics (Corporate).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required
