Inside Sales Representative

Steeler, Inc is a manufacturer of steel framing and a distributor of drywall and construction materials. We are the only continuously operated steel stud manufacturer that has been in business in the USA since 1974.
Our Inside Sales position is responsible for assisting walk in/will call customers and phone orders, coordinates order deliveries, pricing and availability of product and maintain customer friendly environment as well as making outbound sales call to entice new business.
Day to day activities include ensuring properly placed orders, on time deliveries, and completed paperwork. Ability to plus sell accessories and tools.
*Responsibilities*
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Perform effective online demos to prospects

Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

1-2 years of construction and/or steel knowledge preferably in commercial work
Professional and focused work ethic
Proficient in all aspects of professional communications (Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred)
Previous phone sales experience
Computer literate required for customer orders and CRM entries
Previous forklift experience required
