How you will do it

  • Assist project managers, construction supervisors, field technicians, and sales representatives in the delivery of Fire Install projects in commercial facilities.
  • Provide superior customer satisfaction through fast paced coordination and high-volume communication.
  • Prepare and execute weekly and monthly project reporting.
  • Participate in weekly operations and monthly work in progress meetings.
  • Develop personal tools to track and monitor projects.
  • Maintain electronic project folder database with required documents as needed.
  • Assist with change order management and tracking.
  • Manage the release, tracking and expediting of SimplexGrinnell manufactured materials for delivery.
  • Purchase order management, including creation, communication, expediting, and tracking of purchased labor and material.
  • Perform billing in system and assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed.
  • Project closeout coordination and finishing the project in the system promptly.

Education:

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • 2- or 4-year business degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 or more years in a high-volume, customer service-oriented position.
  • Experience in a construction related industry preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to work 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday and overtime as required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivating.
  • Proficiency with PC’s and Microsoft’s suite of Office software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and databases.
  • Successful background check and drug screen.
