  • A hospital in Idaho is in need of a Respiratory Therapist to work a 13-week travel assignment.
  • Job Requirements
  • Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT
  • 3-5 years experience if CRT
  • okay with first-time travelers
  • Department: Respiratory Therapy
  • If they are going to NICU need to know how to do NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Cervo vents
  • Will manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs
  • Will not do EKGs
  • Travelers will only assist with intubations
  • Schedule Information
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 7-730
  • Every other weekend
  • Required to work if here during the holiday
  • May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
  • Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Respiratory Therapy Boise Hospital Flr 1
  • RT Equipment: Vents- Draeger for adults and Servo U for Peds
  • V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow
  • Optiflow for NICU and PICU
  • Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP
  • HillRom Vest machines for percussion, Hill-Rom Metaneb
  • Types of patients: Adults- all floors, Peds, NICU
  • What areas do they cover: Inpatient
  • # treatments per day: 36-42 per 12 hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT
  • RTs for Pediatric floors will also cover adults. RTs for Adult floors will not cover Peds
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Typically 2-3 shifts
