NICU: BLS, NRP
Job Details
~ A hospital in Idaho is in need of a Respiratory Therapist to work a 13-week travel assignment.

Job Requirements
~ Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT
~3-5 years experience if CRT
~ okay with first-time travelers
~ Department: Respiratory Therapy
~ If they are going to NICU need to know how to do NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Cervo vents
~ Will manage all RT equipment, treatments, transport, and ABGs
~ Will not do EKGs
~ Travelers will only assist with intubations

Schedule Information
Shifts & Scheduling: 7-730
Every other weekend
Required to work if here during the holiday
May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
Unit Specific Information
~ Unit: Respiratory Therapy Boise Hospital Flr 1
~ RT Equipment: Vents- Draeger for adults and Servo U for Peds
~ V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow
~ Optiflow for NICU and PICU
~ Philips Cough Assist, ResMed home CPAP
~ HillRom Vest machines for percussion, Hill-Rom Metaneb
~ Types of patients: Adults- all floors, Peds, NICU
~ What areas do they cover: Inpatient
~# treatments per day: 36-42 per 12 hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours
~ Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have at least 2-3 years experience if RRT, 3-5 years experience if CRT
~ RTs for Pediatric floors will also cover adults. RTs for Adult floors will not cover Peds
~ How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Typically 2-3 shifts
